A simple but distinctive bracelet from Peru. It is made of three different metals - copper, brass and alpacca (nickel silver) - which gives it its natural bronze, silver and delicate green hues.

The bracelet is semi-rigid, allowing it to be opened up and then closed to accommodate just about any size wrist. It will then hold its shape and diameter.

Nickel silver (also known as alpacca) is a metal alloy of copper with nickel and sometimes zinc. It has a convincing silvery appearance but, so as to avoid confusion, please note that this bracelet is not silver or silver plated.

These bracelets are handmade in Peru. The one you will receive will be very similar to the one pictured here, but there may be small differences due to the hand working of the materials.

Some people suffering from ailments such as arthritis and fibromyalgia have said that the wearing of copper bracelets or other copper jewellery seems to help. We make no specific claims for our own jewellery, as we feel this will at best vary greatly from person to person.

Please be aware that various kinds of metals - including copper and nickel - can, in some people, cause a form of contact dermatitis. This can result in a skin irritation and rash. Copper, if it reacts with the skin's acid content, may in time cause a green discolouring of the skin. This is not unusual but is difficult to avoid if the person is susceptible to it. You should be aware of this as we cannot refund items where this occurs.

The bracelet is supplied in a silver lame gift bag (see picture below).

Maximum diameter approx 70mm, with an opening of approx 55mm.
Width of band approx 7mm.
Weight approx 10g.
